Carpets are one of the first artistic handicrafts which have been woven since ancient times in Persia. Persian Carpets have always been famous all over the world. Almost all international tourists buy even a small Iranian carpet during their trip to Iran. The oldest Persian carpet was found in Siberia and dates back to 500 years B.C.
At the present time it is preserved under good conditions in Hermitage Museum in Russia (St. Peters Burg).
In this tour, visitors will be picked up at 8 AM and get familiar with silk dying in the workshop. Then we will visit a historical and fantastic bazaar in Isfahan with lots of shops and it is located in Naqsh-e jahan square. In the afternoon, we will go to traditional workshop which is the house of handicrafts in Isfahan.
Different artworks that are mentioned above are available in actual workshops.
